Every two years, motor carriers regulated by the FMCSA must update their DOT Authority or else face fines of up to $10,000 per day
Carriers either typically spend a lengthy amount of time filing out the long MCS-150 form or attempt to get into their FMCSA Portal Account (which usually doesn't work)
We are a third party service that allows you to file quickly and painlessly, so you can get back on the road as quickly as possible
Firstly, you should determine if you're in need of a biennial update. This would be if you have not filed in more than two years. If you filed two years ago, look at your due date. Filing due dates are determined by the DOT Number.
The last digit of your DOT Number determines the month of your due date (for example, DOT 12345 must file in May). Note that numbers ending in 0 must file in October and there are no due dates in November or December.
If the second-to-last digit of your DOT Number is even, you must file a biennial update every even year, and vice versa. So DOT 12345 must file every even year (2020, 2022, 2024...).File Now ->

Confirm your company's information and update it where needed. This will automatically generate a form for you, saving you hours.
Once the form is generated, print it out and sign it. It's recommended you make a copy for your own records.
Follow the instructions to send the form to the FMCSA. Many times they will require the original copy to file.
